Green Bay Packers Survive Against Carolina Panthers

The Green Bay Packers (7-8) survive against the worst team in the NFL, pulling out a 33-30 win in Charlotte, North Carolina over the heretofore previously hapless Carolina Panthers (2-13).

It’s all about surviving & advancing.

But man, Joe Barry’s defense against the worst team in the league, against one of the most inept offenses historically that we have seen in the NFL. I’m too tired to go on a rant about that unit. Basically just re-read my blog from after the Tampa Bay game.

There was no way that I ever felt that this game was in control by the Green Bay Packers because I knew the Packers defense existed & Joe Barry was in charge of it.

The defensive game plan appeared to be different early, I felt it was noticeably different from weeks past early in the game, but then it devolved into Joe Barry land & went “Full Joe” after that.

Joe Barry, The Grinch himself, tried to steal Christmas from us, but thank god for our offense!

I will not celebrate this defense during Christmas, but I will sure as shit celebrate Jordan Love & the offense.

I think Joe Barry is trying to waste Bo Melton’s prime.

Today’s defensive performance was worse than against Baker Mayfield & Tommy DeVito & that’s saying something. Absolutely unacceptable.

Matt LaFleur gave Joe Barry 19 seconds with the season on the line. It was a bold strategy & almost backfired. It took two plays for Carolina to get in Field Goal position to try & tie the game. The Packers only won in regulation because the Panthers ran out of time against this embarrassing Packers defense.

Matt LaFleur needs to do the thing. There’s absolutely zero excuse at this point.

If you’re still questioning or talking trash about Jordan Love as a fan or NFL talent evaluator or analyst, I suggest you find another profession or find something else to consume your time during Packers game days.

The fact that Jordan Love is playing as well as he has this season & doesn’t have the benefit of playing against the Packers defense is simply incredible.

The future is bright with this young offense.
